Temptation and Testing

Temptation and Testing began life as a series of talks that Paul Butler gave during Lent 2004.

Full of real life stories and anecdotes, this refreshingly honest and liberating book tackles the enormously important subject of temptation and testing. It enables us to recognize how we are tempted, to explore why we so often choose not to do what we know is the right thing, and encourage us to make positive choices.

At the end of each chapter, there is a section containing ideas for reflection. The text also includes some suggested questions as an aid to group discussion and suggestions about pictures for use as visual stimulus to discussion or quiet reflection. The prayers in the text can be used for individual or group worship.
