2009 is the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child. This DVD is designed to be used with year 5-8s to explore child rights and responsibilities and other areas of national curriculum including PSHE, Citizenship and Religious Education.
Following the stories of some young people from Manila in the Philippines, your young people will be encouraged to reflect upon their own lives, and gain an understanding of the challenges and experiences that children around the world face everyday.
