Neema Crafts A4 Elephant Dung Notebook (unlined paper)
A useful notebook, decorated with a simple animal design. This neat notebook is made, at the Neema Crafts workshop, from recycled paper and cleaned elephant dung to make a beautiful new and useful booklet. Unlined paper allows you to use it as a notebook or a sketchbook.
The Neema Crafts workshop in Iringa, Tanzania, founded by CMS mission partner Susie Hart, specialises in making beautiful hand-made paper products from recycled paper and natural fibres - including maize husks, pineapple leaves and even elephant dung! They also offer a wide range of handmade jewellery, woven and patchwork goods. All of the highly-skilled artisans are young deaf people who would otherwise have been marginalised by society.
