In 2010, billions of people worldwide watched in awe as 33 Chilean miners were rescued after being trapped underground for more than two months. Now you can hear the riveting story firsthand from the “pastor” of the group, Jose Henriquez, who captured the attention of thousands during the recent 34th Man tour sponsored by CMS. Giving an above-the-ground perspective of the events as they unfolded is Alf Cooper, a CMS mission partner and Protestant chaplain to President Pinera of Chile, who gave Alf the task of calling Chile to prayer during the miners’ ordeal.
