Alternative Worship

If the church is to remain faithful and relevant in the third millennium, it must revitalize its worship, its spirituality and its theology. Alternative Worship offers new ways of being church: through liturgies, meditation, prayers, creative ideas, visuals, music and rituals, it aims to help spark and renew imagination and creativity.

This original collection of resources, arranged around major festivals and feast days in the church year, draws on the experience of many who are well known within the alternative worship movement. It will prove invaluable to those who recognise the importance of engaging with contemporary culture and the arts in the church’s worship, whether within the mainstream or on the progressive fringe.
